Bobbline is Chartered Accountant with 21 years experience in the energy sector, banking sector and professional services. Prior to joining Atlas Mara he was Finance Director for CEC Africa Investments Limited, a company quoted on LUSE. He also served CEC Plc as a director responsible for group financial reporting, responsible for financial reporting and tax compliance for related group companies numbering 15.

 

Bobbline spent seven and half years at Barclays Bank Zambia, his last position was Head of Business Performance and Analytics. He also spent seven and half years at Deloitte & Touche Zambia as an audit Manager and Principal Financial management consultant. He is a double Masters holder with a general MBA and an MSc in Strategic Planning both with distinction from the Heriot Watt University of Scotland

 

 


 

 

 

 

Helen Lunda

 

 

Head of Public Sector and NGO, Atlas Mara Zambia

 

A Transformational leader with over 30 years  experience in banking and finance.  She joined Finance Bank in 2011 as Executive Director Corporate, Retail and Marketing in which period she re-positioned the bank to the top five overall in PAT and balance sheet size.  Subsequently, as Country Head Retail and Business Banking, she played a pivotal role in the successful merger of Finance Bank and BancABC which now is operating as Atlas Mara. Prior to this, Helen worked for Barclays for 27 years with her last role being Emerging Markets Head. She holds a Master of Science in Strategic Planning, Master of Business Administration, both from Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh Business School, a Bachelor of Science in Financial Services from the University of Manchester.

 

 

 


 

 

 

Betsy Nkhoma

 

 

Head of Corporate and Investment Banking, Atlas Mara Zambia

 

Previously, Chief Commercial Officer for Cavmont Bank Zambia Limited. Before that, Betsy was the Vice President (Country Head) for Corporate & Investment Banking of Barclays Bank Zambia PLC, he held other positions included where Country Head Business Banking and Senior Country Credit Manager. Prior to joining Barclays, Betsy worked for Stanbic Bank Zambia in various roles in; Corporate Banking, Retail & Business Banking and Credit Support for close to 4 years.

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

Christopher Mwelo

Previously Head of Global markets at Stanbic Bank and Country Treasurer and Head of Corporate Banking at Access Bank. Chresta Kaluba

 

 

Chief Risk Officer, Atlas Mara Zambia

 

Chresta is a seasoned financial management and risk management expert with extensive experience establishing and managing risk management functions in the banking sector having set up enterprise risk management frameworks and functions for First Capital Bank where he worked for slightly over a year and Cavmont Bank where he worked for four years. Before joining Cavmont Bank, Chresta worked for First National Bank in Treasury Operations before taking on the responsibility of establishing and managing the Risk and Finance function in the Treasury department.

 

Chresta is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CIMA) with an MSc in Strategic Business Management from Manchester Metropolitan University, an MSc in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wales and a BSc in Production Management from the Copperbelt University in Zambia.

 


 

 

Otis Zulu

 

 

Head of Internal Audit, Atlas Mara Zambia

 

Otis Zulu joined BancABC in 2013 from Ecobank, where he worked as Senior IT Audit Manager from 2010. During his time at Ecobank, he was responsible for Information Systems audits across the Ecobank Transnational Inc. (ETI) network. He previously worked for Citibank for over 10 years, where he held various positions, including Country Head of Internal Controls and Business Information Security Officer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

Teza Ngulube

 

 

Head of Retail and Digital Banking, Atlas Mara Zambia

 

Teza is a sound Retail banker with over 14 years’ experience spanning risk management, operations, sales and governance and digital innovation. Prior to joining Atlas Mara, he served as chief Digital Banking Officer and was instrumental in reshaping Zanaco `s digital strategy. He also served as Retail Banking Head at Zanaco

 

Teza has also worked for Standard Chartered Bank Zambia in various retail banking roles and also gained international experience from Standard Chartered Tanzania as General Manager Distribution and Standard Chartered Singapore where he served Group Distribution Transformation Manager.

Prior to joining Atlas Mara Zambia in 2017, Mutule practised law as a Senior Associate in the esteemed firm of Simeza Sangwa & Associates. Mutule had previously practised as an Associate at Musa Dudhia & Company and Corpus Legal Practitioners.

 

Mutule brings a wide array of legal experience in banking and finance, corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions and litigation.

 

 

 

 


 

 

Ejang Okello

 

 

Head of Compliance, Atlas Mara Zambia

 

Ejang is a Lawyer and a certified ACCPA professional who joined the bank (BancABC then) in October 2015. Prior to joining the bank, she worked for First National Bank (FNB), Zambia Limited as Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer. Before moving to FNB where she worked in the Legal Department at Stanbic Bank Zambia Limited.

 

She has over 14 years banking experience with a bias towards General Banking practice, Regulatory Compliance, Anti Money Laundering compliance and Corporate and Commercial Law transactions. She holds a Master of Laws Degree in Corporate and Commercial Law, Bachelor of Laws Degree and Certificates of Competence in Core banking and Financial Services Learnership – Compliance.

 

 

 


 

 

Sobrick Sakala

 

 

Chief Operating Officer, Atlas Mara Zambia

 

Sobrick has over 20 years of consulting and work experience in complex enterprise environments in the fields of business modeling, business planning, business analysis, product and system development, systems integration services, technology commercialization & operationalisation, data driven project, programme and portfolio management.

 

He has held different executive and senior management roles involving strategic planning, development, implementation and operationalisation of information management systems/ services across South Africa and Zambia‘s leading financial and insurance companies like Standard Bank, Stanbic, Old Mutual, Nedbank, Discovery and Zambia National Savings & Credit Bank.

 

Before joining Atlas Mara he was a Chief Operating Officer at National Savings and Credit Bank where he was responsible for the formulation of their digital driven transformation strategy and its operationalisation.

 

He was previously Chief Information Officer at Stanbic Zambia where he managed all IT Strategy and Operational Services. Prior to that he was Digital Portfolio Manager at Standard Bank South Africa where he was responsible for the development and operations of the bank’s Digital Banking, Messaging and Mobile Payments. Sobrick also holds an MBA.

 


 

 

SANDRA MALUPANDE

Sandra Malupande is a highly-qualified Legal Counsel with 18 years’ experience in Corporate law and expertise in corporate governance. She is a skilled negotiator, drafts favorable, enforceable and readable contracts and agreements Sandra joined Atlas Mara in 2017 from Airtel Networks Zambia Plc, where she was Company Secretary and prior to that Legal Manager. While at Airtel, other than providing company secretarial services to the Board, she provided legal counsel on numerous issues arising from actual or anticipated litigation and also coordinated as well as managed relations with external counsel.

 

Prior to joining Airtel, Sandra held various management positions one of which was that of legal counsel for a quasi-government organization, Rural Electrification Authority, where she set up and run the legal department, having worked there for 5 years.

 

Sandra holds a Master’s Degree in International Trade Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

 


 

Lewis Kanda

Acting Chief Financial Officer, Atlas Mara Zambia

A Chartered Accountant with over 18 years’ experience in both Industry and Practice covering both local and international exposure. A fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).

Currently working as Acting Chief Financial Officer at Atlas Mara one of the leading banks in Zambia in terms of profitability and second largest in terms of branch distribution. Before joining Atlas Mara Lewis worked as Group CFO for the Focus Group overseeing the group’s subsidiaries covering insurance, investment banking and micro finance sectors within Zambia with a focus on SMEs. Before that He worked at Barclays Bank Zambia for over 9 years. While at Barclays Lewis held various roles including that of Vice President Finance he was also seconded to Barclays Ghana as Financial Controller and the Barclays Africa Regional Office in Dubai as Finance Business Partner. Prior to joining Barclays he worked for Deloitte as an Auditor.

 


 

Chilufya Kaka

Head of Credit, Atlas Mara Zambia

Chilufya is an experienced Credit Risk Management practitioner in Retail and Commercial Credit who joined the Bank in January 2013. Previously ABCH Group Head-Reporting, Credit Models and Analytics he has served in different senior management capacities in the Atlas Mara Group and has provided leadership for a capital intense portfolio for Consumer and Commercial business lines, covering asset products of Retail Banking, Wholesale lending and Business Banking. Prior to joining the bank, Chilufya served at Zambia National Commercial Bank under the Risk Management Directorate in various roles in the Credit Risk Management function.

He has over 15 years banking experience with a bias towards Credit Operations, Risk Management and Data Science applications. He holds an MSc in Finance from Leicester University, Degree in Business Administration from the Copperbelt University and Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership and Entrepreneurship from University of Stellenbosch Business School.

 


Nicholas C. Muneku

Country Head – Customer Experience

Nicholas Muneku is a seasoned Banker with over 30 years of banking experience. While at Atlas Mara, he worked as Head of Bank Operations before taking up the role of Country Head- Customer Experience. Prior to joining Atlas Mara, he was with Barclays Bank Zambia where he worked as Head of Customer Service.

He has twenty-five years of senior management banking experience in Retail banking – accountable for Bank Operations, Governance & Controls and Sales, Card Acquiring, and Digital Channels. He is a holder of a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (I) with Edith Cowan University of Australia.
