We continue to seek ways to uplift the people living in the communities in which we operate. As part of our efforts, we partnered with The Duke of Edinburgh International Awards Zambia in 2019 and have been working alongside to empower and equip young Zambians with the leadership skills they need to thrive and succeed in an ever-changing world.
From the inception of the partnership to date, Atlas Mara Zambia has contributed K215,000 to support various initiatives and causes that promote, support and encourage the learning and development of our future leaders. On Friday 28th May 2021, Atlas Mara MD, Mr James Koni visited two partner organisations that support vulnerable children; The Njobvu Community Centre in Chibolya Compound & the Special Needs class at Kabulonga Boys High School, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to helping the vulnerable in our society.
