Thank you all for taking time to join us this morning. It is indeed an honour to be here on behalf of Atlas Mara to mark another momentous occasion as we empower our customers. Today, we are here to hand over not one but two houses in partnership with Nkwashi Housing Development.

Distinguished guests, as you may be aware, Atlas Mara manages diverse customer portfolios drawn from all sectors of the country. Therefore the need for us to continually develop innovative products and services that are in line with the banking needs of our customers is imperative for the Bank. Currently, we the have one of largest branch network in Zambia with 55 branches and 115 ATMs across all the 10 provinces in the country.

We are here today to reward our customers who have been part of this exciting campaign and journey with us. As you may be aware, the Switch and Win campaign has been running from the 1st May 2019 to 30th September 2019. However, due to overwhelming participation from our customers the campaign was further extended to the 31st of December 2019.
Over the campaign period, a total of sixty-three (63) winners have won monthly cash prizes of K5,000 to K10,000 winning a total of K450,000 respectively and our two customers Mr. Humphrey Chileshe from Ndola and Ms Maggie Namukoko from Lusaka have been empowered with newly built houses in partnership with Nkwashi Housing Development.
This is a clear testament of what we stand for as a Bank. Our drive and focus revolves around our customers and their financial needs. Hence, our heavy investment in our various digital platforms to deliver the best of products and services. We have over the last year and half rolled out exciting offerings for our customers such as;

  • Our refreshed Value proposition across Retail, Pubic Sector and Corporate Banking to cater for various customer needs.
  • The revolutionary Tenga Mobile wallet that enables customers to save, invest and borrow, one does not need to have an Atlas Mara account to access this service.
  • Salary Advance at zero interest rate of up to K30, 000 at 0% interest payable over a three month period.
  • SME Application and increased solutions for our SME customer.
  • Exciting Financial literacy programmes which promote financial inclusion for the unbanked and the banked.

These are some of the initiatives that we have recently embarked on and are continually improving for the benefit of our customers.

The campaign has been an exciting opportunity which was extended to all customers that switched their salary account to Atlas Mara Bank. The requirement for participation in this campaign was to simply open a Salary account with the Bank or move the salary to the Bank if a customer already has an account with Atlas Mara.

There was no minimum salary for the switch and anyone was eligible to switch from across the country as long as they were salaried.

We ensured that the winners were drawn from all over the country through a transparent selection overseen by our audit partners, HLB Zambia. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the auditors for their good work.

I am happy to say that the winners were selected from all the ten provinces of Zambia where Atlas Mara operates and that the prizes were divided into three region. So far we have had winners coming from the Northern, Muchinga and Luapula Region; the Copperbelt, Central and North Western Regions and the Lusaka, Southern, Eastern and Western Province Region.

The Switch and Win campaign was not only about the two houses and the cash prizes. It also comes with additional perks such as access to a Salary Advance of up to K30, 000 at 0% interest payable over a three month period. The salary Advance is still accessible to all Atlas Mara customers even after the end of the campaign.
As you know, the employer will not provide for all our the financial solutions to help meet our financial needs, that is why Atlas Mara is providing tailor made solutions to help you create your own wealth and assist you to succeed. We are here to make success.
